Resize images without uploading them
Photos straight off a phone or camera are far bigger than most websites, forms and emails need. Resizing them down makes pages load faster and files easier to share. This resizer does it on your own device, so even personal photos stay private.
How to use it
- Drop in an image.
- Enter a new width or height — the other side follows if aspect ratio is locked.
- Click Resize & Download.
Frequently asked questions
Does resizing reduce quality? Downscaling is high-quality and barely noticeable. Enlarging beyond the original size will look softer, since there is no extra detail to add.
Will it keep the aspect ratio? Yes, when “lock aspect ratio” is on — change one dimension and the other adjusts automatically. Turn it off to set an exact size.
Which formats are supported? JPG, PNG and WebP. The output keeps the original format.
Are my images uploaded? No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
