When to delete pages from a PDF
Documents often carry pages you don’t want to share — a blank page at the end of a scan, a cover sheet, an internal note, or duplicate pages from a double-sided scan. Deleting them gives you a cleaner, smaller file that contains only what matters, which is perfect before emailing a report or uploading a form.
How to delete pages, step by step
- Drag in (or browse for) your PDF — the tool shows the total page count.
- Type the pages to remove. Single pages and ranges both work: for example 2, 5, 7-9.
- Click Delete Pages & Download — a new PDF without those pages saves instantly.
The whole process runs in your browser, so your document is never uploaded.
How to write the page list
- Single pages: separate with commas, e.g. 1, 4, 8.
- Ranges: use a hyphen, e.g. 7-9 removes pages 7, 8 and 9.
- Mixed: combine them, e.g. 2, 5, 7-9.
